Driving on a roundabout is one of the common agitations of drivers. Not only for teenage drivers, but some of the most experienced motorists can be confused when they encounter this traffic circle. Some of the questions that may arise are:

According to a recent survey conducted by the Royal Automobile Club of Queensland, majority of the Queensland drivers failed the RACQ’s roundabout report card. The survey also shows that some of the drivers were just duplicating the vehicle in front of them even if they are doing the wrong thing.

Driving Tips for Roundabouts:
- When approaching a multi-lane roundabout, it is important to move to another lane before exiting. If you are moving to another lane, you should give way to the vehicles on the path you are moving to.

When Turning Right or U-Turns:
- Position your vehicle on the right side of the road, except when you see an arrow or a sign that indicates otherwise.
- Utilise your right indicator as you come near and enter the circle.

- Stop pointing out once you have exited the traffic circle.
Give way to the left:

- Stop pointing out once you have exited the traffic circle.
